And now it is about five ft. It does display a vivid yellow color in the spring but I have not seen a dramatic color in the fall. However, we have not had normal seasons since planted either really dry or really wet. I am in north central Pennsylvania zone 5b. I also would like to note that this tree seems to be happy and growing about twenty-five feet away from an established Black Walnut tree.
