Ive only grown it for one year and its taken -3c over winter and stayed evergreen, and importantly, tidy looking in the winter months with no need to cut back to tidy it up. It was grown in a dry spot on clay soil and perhaps this is why it has survived as i cant imagine this would cope well with winter wetness. Im guessing it should be as hardy as d.personata at about -8c.
This year it started flowering in the last week of may and from what i remember it flower in to november or december and remainder stiffly upright at 30cm high.
However, aside from the long flowering period the best thing is the flowers are all concentrated together and not diffuse all over the plant, so it really stands out in the border and from a distance.
Theres also a light pink and apricot version, all are worth having if you can find them.
