It is being marketed as a super plum and the next superfruit because of its extremely high antioxidant content. It is said to contain more anthocyanins than any other edible fruit and some Australian studies suggest it may encourage natural weight loss. We will see. Anothoer bonus for the gardener is that the flowers are extremely fragrant.
NOT SELF-FRUITFUL. Pollinators include 'Santa Rosa' and 'Blackamber'. In tern, 'Queen Garnet' is an excellent pollinator and a potential pollen parent.
