So far, it seems like a compact, nicely-beh...Read Moreaved shrub, which I am hoping will not get as large as 'Otto Lyuken' (or at least it seems to be slower growing). The foliage is exceptionally shiny and very attractive. It handles full sun very well - no discoloration in winter - though I suspect this shrub would also be at home in a shady situation too. I highly recommend this plant, both on it's own merits and as a more compact alternative to Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Lyuken', where space is tight.
