A breakthrough in fruit size, productivity, and plant vigor. Taste rated with the best, fruits twice the size of previous releases. Late fruiting and late flowering also suggest that this cultivar may tolerate more southern climates than most other U of S cultivars, though that remains to be tested.
'Indigo Gem' and 'Tundra' are tentatively recommended as pollinizers for this cultivar. 'Boreal Beauty' is likely to be a good pollinizer for this cultivar as well, with a better flowering season overlap, though that has yet to be tested.
