In my opinion, the flowers on this hibiscus are far more on the red side of purple than the blue. It's a nice color, but kind of clashes with the blues purples and pinks that predominate my garden.
Which may be part of the reason that though I bought it last summer, I never got it in the ground. One of those impulse buys the result of it being really pretty and on sale. I haven't seen any new growth yet this year, but I'm pretty confident it will have survived the winter under my deck with all the other things that didn't get planted last year.
