Purchased as a tuber from Walmart early 2016. Started indoors in unheated basement in late March. Transplanted to a tub on my deck that g...Read Moreets about 5 hours sunshine. The buds formed early but took over two weeks to start opening. Currently, mid July, it's just over 4' tall with two flowers completely open, and about a dozen more on the way. The open flowers are 7-8" dia. At the end of June green, white and black insects appeared suddenly and were treated successfully with an Ortho brand flower insect killer.
