Its unique flavor and text...Read Moreure is second only to Sungold, and this is saying a lot. You can even eat Garnet after eating Sungold, and it still tastes fantastic (unlike Gardeners Delight, whose distinctive flavor tastes awful after eating Sungold). I am amazed that Garnet has escaped the attention of so many online tomato reviewers. I choose tomatoes pretty much exclusively for taste and texture, and Garnet has it all. For me, it is a perennial keeper!
