Large clusters of whitish/green daisy like flowers form in clusters in late spring. Must have good drainage, tolerates most dry soils, and mild frosts. Fast growing but inclined to be short-lived, and benefits from a hard prune after flowering. Apparently the large leaves with their white, finely hairy undersides can be written upon (with a ballpoint pen), thus allowing one to send rather novel letters.
