In comparison to the parent plants, ‘Cleopatra’ is different from the female parent ‘Sweet Simplicity’ in having a more upright habit, larger diameter branches and purple flowers. The flowers of ‘Sweet Simplicity’ have a white center. ‘Cleopatra’ is different from the male parent ‘Black Tulip’ in having a more upright habit, thinner diameter branches and purple flowers. The flowers of ‘Black Tulip’ are purple-red.
