Nonetheless, it prefers moisture in Summer. Very low growing making neat little mounds. Very easy to grow if properly sited. I recommend gardeners new to the plant to divide it and try it in several locations to find it's "sweet spot." Like most Sedums it roots extremely easily from any stem in contact with soil. It makes an excellent candidate to grow in the margins of a gravel path in dappled shade. I imagine it would do well in some Alpine (but not too cold) gardens.
