But my on...Read Moree minor problem, being a guy, was the pink flowers (which attract so many bees in summer that the entire bush vibrates with a cacophony of humming if you get up next to it). So this variety, with pure white flowers, is absolutely perfect in every way, and has instantly made it onto my list of favorite plants of all time. I've only seen it at one nursery (contact me if you want to know which one), so it's pretty hard to find. Yes, Texas sage can be grown here in rainy, humid Louisiana. Just plant it on a sandy mound in full sun.
