I wanted a clean pure yellow iris and can attest that this one is not at all fussy. I barely got it planted in 2012, ignored it all of 2013 and still this sturdy iris rewards me with beautiful blooms. Drought tolerance is definitely one of its attributes. 5/16/15 Grows nicely in shade also and has good increase.
