This year(yr 2) it is already 8 ft tall!! I attempted to prune it back in the spring but it came back to that by fall already. I don’t want to prune it again and lose the flowers for next year and the natural vase shape. I went back to my garden center and noticed they changed their signage to say 8-10’ tall, although the product tag has not changed. Since they are covering a window and making my house look like the Adams family I will be moving them. The only spot I have is part shade so hopefully they will still have their color in this spot.

In cool springs the color remains for months before going more green in the heat of summer. I've had no mildew problems with the two bushes in my garden, in full sun in a mixed border. The blooms are attractive too. So far the fall color has not been outstanding, just a gentle fade-out. If I could find a place for more of these shrubs, I'd plant them.
