This is not a negative comment about this plant, but for some reason some merchants try to pass this cultivar off as yellow, and some eve...Read Moren claim it's white. It's really neither. I suppose it might be described as buttery green? Really, it's not the flowers that are the main attraction, but rather it's small size and glossy leaves. The flowers, for me, are a bonus, but there are showier blooms available. Another marketing untruth is that it is "ground hugging." What's wrong with people? It IS smaller than most in height but it is not procumbent. It's leaves are similar in size to it's larger brethren. Again, I like this plant, but I fear that unrealistic expectations may lead to undue disappointment. Warbler looks lovely in front of "Pink Frost"(my favorite in leaf and bloom). It also makes a gorgeous groundcover if you have the money, as it doesn't spread quickly. So, grow Warbler and love him for what he is without putting him on a pedestal from which he may quickly fall. Try it with Ostrich or other upright ferns.
