I killed the first one by putting it in shad...Read Moree and watering too much; then I saw one at the Cincinnati Botanical Gardens that was in full sun. I've had my new one on a north-facing deck all summer and it is beautiful. I grew it from a 5" pot; watered it every other or every couple days from mid June and fertilized it (1/2 strength) every other week. It cascades wonderfully and is a nice hot orange color.
All the usual pollinators like it: bees, wasps, butterflies, moths and the hummingbirds love it.
