Whole plant is covered in ferruginous-red hairs (especially young leaves). Flowers numerous - white and yellow. Fruits to 1,8-2,6cm (0,8-1 inch) diameter – hairy, light green and dark green striped (according one source fruits without seeds are edible in small quantities) – they have very nice strong aroma (and apparently they are used to making juices and as vegetable). Very ornamental variety native to Brazil, can be grown outside in zone 6 (as annual) and warmer (first ripe fruits fall down after 9 months from germination of seeds). Seeds may germinate slowly and erratic.
