Five of these along the fence, starting...Read More from one gallon pots in mid-May...and they're really taking off, even through a hot, dry San Antonio summer. It's now mid-October and they've doubled in size, with judicious pruning to encourage fuller branching. Aphids are attracted to the new growth once in a while, but organic sprays take care of them easily.
Due to some "rearranging" I moved two of these to new spots; no transplant shock or any problems that I can tell. It'll be a long time before they provide any privacy, I'm sure, but they're headed in the right direction.
