Mariposa Blue looks to be a bit more "stout" in appearance; the flowers are bigger and more vivid than Butterfly Blue. Also seems to be a bit more drought tolerant, a plus for western gardeners. Side-by-side, Butterfly Blue looks to be the runt of the Butterfly family.
