I haven't seen any increase in plant size or root increasing as other paniculatas have done.
I like the dark eggplant almost black buds on the bloom heads,they last a very longtime thus the Black Mystique name I suppose.This is why I give the plant a neutral instead of a negative
Alas when the buds begin to open they do so at a slow pace also ,the first few open florets die back before the entire head is open giving the bloom an unpleasant appearance.
I doubt I will replace these plants if they succumb.
