One of the tomatoes my plant produced was very large. The single tomato provided thick slices for two sandwiches and I cut the rest of the tomato into chunks that I ate with salt and pepper.
Our summers tend to be hot and dry. Katja produced my first large tomatoes and continued to produce tomatoes despite the heat. I'm planning to save seed from the plants this year so I can continue to grow this one in the future.
This tomato is semi-determinate and bears early. Most of the descriptions I've read state DTM of 50-60 days.
I think there are two tomatoes named Katja. The one I've grown produces a large pink tomato and the other one produces a smaller red tomato. I grow a lot of different varieties in a small area.
