Hoping it gets established. Was expecting more maroon in leaves but have since read that Red Dragon only holds its color of red longer than Red Majestic holds the color and that apparently they both get more dark green leaves as summer progresses.

It'...Read Mores doing great: staying healthy, growing, and contorting. It's a beauty. I'm in Zone 6A and have it growing in dappled sun. Update in May 2021: still doing great. Now about 10' across and 4.5' tall with dark red foliage this time of year. The contortion in the winter is striking. It's productive enough to be able to spare some limbs for indoor decor. Well worth the investment.
