i read about this introduction from proven winners, then on a recent trip to longwood gardens in kennett square pa. they had these beauti...Read Morees displayed in large planters all to their own around the water gardens, it instantly struck me as something that looks like a cross between colocasia "black magic" and colocasia gigantea since the leaves actually resemble thai giant with the crinkles/size and the coloring/stoleniferous suckering habit of black magic, i suspect the crinkles may be caused by improper environmental placement for the culture of this plant's developing leaves, which adds to the overall effect of their appearance. gorgeous! OKAY not to mention the Bright YeLloW Spath against the purpureas petioles.. ohh
