Looks a bit like a cream-colored Astilbe. Beautiful cut foliage lasts well all season if moisture is consistent. Spent seedheads are attractive.
Takes several years in place to reach its mature size. Reaches 24" tall in bloom the first season.
Prefers protection from afternoon sun, but will perform in full sun in the north with consistent moisture (irrigation).
Will self-sow lightly. Offspring may be variable.
May be propagated by division in early spring. Rootstocks grow woody, and loppers and a saw will likely be necessary.
