Red and White Crinum is latifolium var. zeylanicum which has the shorter petal length like your typical crinum varieties you see in the Southern United States. Also 'milk and wine' crinum flowers are much larger and longer and their coloring abit paler. although I usually don't like striped flowers, this is one of my favorites. I cant believe I actually saw this for sale at Lowes this year too if anyone wants one! I call it pepperment lily of candy cane lily not because of its fragrance but because of its red and white coloring. it is awesome!
