I bought one & brought it up, planted it in my front yard in Fayetteville, PA (zone 6b), and despite the fact that the plants tags said they were only hardy to zone 7, this particular plant (and the other two Cousin It yuccas that I bought from the same place in 2016) have sailed through just about the worst that a Pennsylvania winter has to offer over the past 3-5 years with minimal or no leaf damage.
The plants definitely live up to their names though: They're relatively fast growers (for yuccas) and the one out front that I posted a picture of started as a 3-gallon plant 4-5 years ago & managed to get to the point where the mound of leaves are over 4ft across & it already has a 1.5 ft trunk that is at least 4 in thick, with the spike of new leaves about 4.5ft above the ground, meaning that my Cousin It yucca is about as big as its namesake from the old Addams Family TV show. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a bold, tropical look in colder climates.
