The tag on mine says "Full sun Ht.: 10-32" Sp.: 12-16" Wonderfully fragrant blooms. Performs well in cooler growing regions. Uses: A reliable choice for borders, containers, and rock gardens. Care: Best in slightly alkaline, fertile but well-drained soil."
Update, June 2014: Mine died right after our record rainfall at the end of May (~14" in 48 hrs.). It had undergone a big growth spurt in the previous several months, and had no problems with our Icepocalypse winter of 2014. And it bloomed like crazy. So I will not hesitate to recommend it, preferably if you don't live in a super-rainy area like southern Louisiana.
