It is of a slightly lighter rose-pink tone than AUGUSTE DESSERT, which is shown in natural colors in this catalog. It has absolutely perfect stems, and its color tone is most attractive. As a landscape variety it may be superior to PHYLLIS KELWAY, but PHYLLIS KELWAY is very much superior to it as a show bloom, but these two varieties can be safely recommended to Peony lovers who are seeking the very best. We are trying to propagate a large planting of both of them and so we are not anxious to increase our sales of these two varieties at this time. $3.00

SUZETTE (Dessert, 1911) - Double - Rose-Pink - Midseason. Medium height. Mildly fragrant. Large. Clear rose pink, with deeper old-rose in center of petals, brightened by yellow reflections from numerous stamens. Extremely floriferous; stiff stems. Good foliage.
