Its flowers have a beautiful bright red color and are of good size, and they are carried gracefully on slender stems; the plant produces most excellent laterals, giving it a blooming season in ordinary years of nearly two weeks, during all of which time it has excellent landscape value. Among the great red Peonies of the world it probably ranks in value next to PHILIPPE RIVOIRE, which blooms a few days later, but which usually continues to bloom a week or ten days longer. These two red varieties cover the entire Peony blooming season, from the very earliest to the very latest, and we believe that both of them will be much better appreciated each year, as more and more people become acquainted with the beauty of the "World's Best Peonies." $5.00
