PRIDE OF PAULDING (Neeley). One of the three splendid Peon...Read Moreies originated by Dr. Neeley of Paulding, Ohio. The guard petals are wide and long, somewhat the same pink color as PIERRE DUCHARTRE; the petals in the collar are narrower and shorter, while the central petals match the guards. The blooms are large and beautiful, the stems are strong and with very little support it makes an excellent landscape variety. While its main bloom is excellent for show purposes, its laterals when well supported, have landscape value during very late midseason. $25.00

PRIDE OF PAULDING (Neeley, 1920) - Double - Pink - Late. Strong rose fragrance. Large. Horizontal guards about a compact, ball-like center, later the guards relax, giving the flower a distinct cylindrical shape. Rich flesh-pink, creamy in the collar, and all petals slightly greenish at the base; stiff, heavy stems.
