MRS. CHARLES SEDGWICK MINOT (Minot). A most excellent Peon...Read Morey which has been placed upon the market in the last few years. It has light pink guards surrounding a central body of cream white petals without stamens. The quality of the petals is almost equal to that of ALICE HARDING (originally named AMITIE AMERICAINE), and the splendid stiff stems hold the blooms perfectly. Its laterals, while not large, are excellent for landscape purposes and they have a longer blooming season than the main blooms. We believe this variety has a permanent place in the Peony world and we wish to propagate it rather than sell it. $35.00
