MONT BLANC (Lemoine). A very large, white rose type Peony ...Read Morewhich blooms in clusters and which has a very pleasing fragrance. It is probably the most prolific white Peony in cultivation as we have sometimes seen eight or ten blooms and buds on a single stem, and in good seasons all of these buds mature into beautiful flowers. When the main bloom opens the stem cannot support it, but after the main bloom has gone and one or two of the first laterals have lived their life of usefulness, the stem is usually able to carry the remainder of its blooms, and at this time when properly trimmed, the variety has considerable landscape value. In an exhibition of "Peonies blooming in Clusters," it is usually a winner. $3.00
