LA FRANCE (Lemoine). One of the very best, large, light pi...Read Morenk, double Peonies, blooming late in the season. It blooms a few days earlier than GALATHEE and LOVELINESS. Its color, which is usually spoken of as apple blossom pink, is better than in either of these two above named varieties, and it retains its color better than they do. It is a most excellent variety for cut flowers, and for use in the show room, but it has very little landscape value, unless supports are used. $6.00

LA FRANCE (Lemoine, 1901) - Double - Pink - Very Late. Tall. Fragrant. Very large. Clear, light pink, richer in center and flecked darker toward tips, with crimson splashed on outer petals. Floriferous; strong stems. Good foliage. Enormous, perfectly formed flowers of true rose type, with very broad and very deep petals of crisp, fresh, and distinct crepe-like texture. A remarkable show flower and equally good for garden decoration.
