TAMATBAKO (Japan). The very best pink Japanese Peony we ha...Read Moreve ever seen. Its guard petals are large and of extremely good quality. The yellow staminodes in the center are extra long and also of excellent quality. The plant produces blooms of all its laterals and while it does not bloom very early in the season, it continues its blooming season so that it can be cut with SOLANGE, GALATHEE and other excellent late double varieties. We are trying to propagate this variety to the fullest extent, and have very few plants for sale. It has been offered at a modest price by some other growers, and we advise its purchase both by commercial growers and by Peony enthusiasts whenever it can be procured at $10.00 or under. We prefer to propagate it for future sales rather than to sell it now. $25.00
