Just bought this plant from a lady who grows them (and various succulents) here in Salinas, CA. From what I have read online, Haemanthus...Read More pauculifolius is very rare and is found naturally in only two locations in the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. It was first described in 1993. It's closely related to Haemanthus albiflos. It is said to have no problem wintering over outside here in Salinas (Zone 9b/ Sunset 15).
