That being said, it is like “candy” to snails here, and they will find it, and keep whittling it down till it’s nothing. Like most succulents, it is probably best suited for cultivation in a Mediterranean Climate. It’s it’s new growth has little leaves which eventually fall off (similar to many cactus-like Euphorbia sp.), and flowers are essentially identical in form, and strong pleasing clove-fragrance as Senecio serpens (Blue Chalk Sticks) and Senecio rowleyanus (String of Pearls).
