Pumpkin, Winter Squash 'Porcelain Doll'

I grew "Porcelain Doll" on a whim, thinking it would be more of an ornamental. I vastly underestimated this squash! The plants were vig...Read Moreorous and the vines were long. When the fall rains came and other varieties that surrounded it wilted from downy mildew, it was unphased. The fruit were large and very meaty. The taste was comparable to "Jarrahdale", which is my gold standard for a good tasting winter squash. The seeds are still tough to come by but I am seeing them offered in more locations this year.

A 20 -25 lb shocking pink ribbed pumpkin. Deep orange flesh.
