I saw this 2009 Marietta Gardens Intoduction from Elizabeth Shooter growing this June at Marietta Gardens when my son and I drove down to see John and Faye. It is one of their most beautiful large pink daylilies to date in my opinion. I liked the name of the plant as when I was in 6th grade in the early 1960's my brother and me had a german shepard who everytime my mother would bake a cake, he would sneak in her kitchen and try to lick the frosting off the cake as soon as she left the room, as he thought if he did that as oppose to taking a big bite out of it,she wouldn't know the difference and he wouldnt get scolded. 'Frosting on the Cake' has 5-way branching and 31 buds.
