I have a packet with a large amount of seeds from a grower in Portimao, Portugal (I guess from their native area..?) but, I haven't planted the seed yet. This is the plant that yields labdanum: [HYPERLINK@en.wikipedia.org] the lovely scented waxy resin from the plant that is used in fragrances, incense and some drinks. My own plant being rather small, with one leaf held close to the nose the scent this plant provides is definitely there. I can only describe the scent thus- it's a "Christmas-ey", woody yet, well- it's hard to describe. I don't believe anyone could find the scent objectionable.
