Japanese Wisteria 'Betty Tam'

It hesitates to grow again following a hard pruning for maybe 2 weeks then its back to the horse races. This cultivar will repeat bloom through the summer. Here in zone 5A/5B it blooms as typical in spring then has another blooming period by July. I will have to watch to see if it tries to bloom again. In warmer climates with longer summers it is possible it might bloom 3x a growing season. Literature I have read says repeat blooming "monthly" can be expected but I sense this might be too generous. I will report if I notice otherwise.
