I've also spent hours vainly trying to find the answers online. Have had my potted plant indoors since Spring and it has grown to an awkward spindly 9 feet height, 4 inch width. I've read the deer will eat it if I put it outside. I also don't know how it would handle being put out in winter, after spending all summer indoors. How much should I prune it? Does it need a winter "hardening off"?
