This can be grown as a productive hedge, spaced 5-7' apart. It's self-pollinating, but another relative nearby ('Carmine Jewel', 'Romeo', 'Juliette', 'Cupid', 'Valentine', or P. cerasus or P. fruticosa) will increase fruit production.
Bred at the University of Saskatchawan and hardy to Z2b. Best in fertile sandy loam with a pH of 6.5-8.0, tolerates clay.
