The blooms are smaller then the average Crown of thorns..but with it being red blooms (bracts) and that dazzling variegation it stands out from the others.
ADDED: Now that the hottest part of the year has passed 'Fireworks' looks to do best in part sun. Full sun is hard on the normally heat and sun loving species. The variegated wants shade from hottest sun.
