Osteospermum, African Daisy, Cape Daisy 'Double Purple'

I bought an African Daisy at Lowes. It looks very similar to the pictures here, only a really deep red violet/purple, but it is labeled:<...Read Morebr />
"Ballerina African Daisy - Margarita Africana Ballerina - Osteospermum Ballerina"

I wonder if this is the same plant. I planted it in one of my long, narrow gardens, with roses and it never went into shock, like most plants when you buy them and bring them home. Plus, it is very, very happy in our hot, dry weather, so far.
I'm going to try to take a cutting of it, to see if I can get more plants like it. Will update you, when and if a cutting is a possible new plant.
