Mammillaria 'Snowball'

The differences between the Subspecies, varieties, formas & cultivars:
~ M. schiedeana var. plumosa: Soft hairs; no central spines...Read More; about 100-120 hair-spines per areole; flowers are pale pink with medium pink midviens.
~ M. schiedeana var. plumosa f. mostruosa: (synonym: cv. 'Snowball): This cultivar clumps and is covered completely with longer, very soft & silky hairs, No central spines. (Don't know if if blooms or not because it's a monstrose).
~ M. schiedeana subsp. giselae: Clusters with 15 or more heads; 1 or 2 central spines most of the time but occasionally 0 or up to 5; white to yellow to nearly orange radial spines that are flexible, feathery & fine. Flowers are medium pink to pale pink with a darker pink midvien.
~ M. schiedeana subsp. giselae 'Albiflora': Up to 30 feather-like & thin radial spines; Flowers White and smaller than the regular subspecies "giselae"; Zero Central spines.
~ M. schiedeana subsp. dumetorum: The radial spines are less than 50 per areole and more rigid than the regular species' fine spines; Flowers are nearly white with maybe a slight hint of pink.
~ M. schiedeana (subsp. schiedeana); Radial spines number up to 120 per areole and are thin; All white Flowers.
