I...Read Moren Southern California this is one of the harder species to grow, and if one lives in the right microclimate to keep it alive, it rarely holds more than 2-3 leaves at a time. Has a very skinny stem (about 1/4" diameter) and only grows to maybe 6' tall (possibly taller in better climates in cultivation).
