The blooms are a very rare for a peony, being a pink picotee. They are a medium blush pink color which is overspread with little flecked "fawn-like" dots of a deeper shade of pink. The fragrant flowers are large double and supported by strong stems without any additional hoop or staking needed. B.B.Wright of IA is listed as the cultivator in the American Peony Society Bulletin Database, under Peonies, 1976-1986, page 103; and his peony was offered in the Klehm's SongSparrow nursery catalog of 2000.
