This plant is great mid border, with spectacular swaths of purple and blue color. It reseeds, but gently, generally just where its planted and not all over the garden. Seedlings transplant well. Best in dappled shade in hot areas, especially in the afternoon. This is perfect where you want dramatic color in a somewhat shady spot. I purchased at Annie's Annuals.
