The leaves gather on the mid-vein and that makes the leaf ruffled from the middle.
Sometimes I get a 10" leaf edge on a 2" mid-vein
In full sun they turn 2 colors of pink, bronze, burgundy, and olive green.
Many folks take cuttings in the Fall to overwinter in zones colder than 9a
