The seeds resemble Sapodilla seeds. Seeds take 3+ months to germinate. Seedlings may take 6 yrs to reach maturity. Fruit flavor resembles Canistel but with a gummy aftertaste. The trees were not damaged by the severe cold during Jan 2010, although they are growing beneath a mixed canopy.
